I'm just wondering, if your discharge is brown is that an std?

Not neccessarily: Brown discharge is many times not due to any serious infection.When the period is over any blood left in the uterus may come through vagina as brown discharge.In some women during ovulation a slight bleeding may occur and as it is discharged from vagina after few days it may be brown.But any discharge from vagina should be checked by your doctor as there is an outside chance of an infection.
