Neosynephrine/surger: Treatment depends upon type of priapism. More common is ischemic priapism due to blood trapped in penis. Aspirate, blood will be dark and then inject neosynephrine (phenylephrine). Subject will require shunting surgery if priapism persists. High flow priaism, less common, diagnose by doppler ultrasound, bright red blood. Ice pack and may resolve spontaneously, if not blood clot be injected to slow down flow in.
