A member asked:

What are possible reasons that my hand gets numb and tingly after dip netting and fishing?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Peripheral nerve: Could be nerve compression at wrist or elbow, which is exacerbated by the complex motions used for your netting and fishing. Most commonly this is carpal tunnel syndrome, but may be cubital tunnel. If it is more consistent or worsening, your doctor can help.
