A member asked:

How do you know when your ovaluating? is their a discharge? what different happens to your body?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

LH Surge: Ovulation features a surge in leutinizing hormone (lh), increase in the viscosity of cervical mucus, small increase in basal body temperature, and sometimes pain in the lower quadrant of the abdomen. The changes leading up to ovulation also typically cause increased interest in sex. Most women do not have symptoms reliable enough to predict ovulation, so they use home predictor kits.
