Late menses: You should rule out pregnancy first, but beyond that you may have not ovulated this cycle and this is breakthrough bleeding precipitated by sex. During female orgasm the uterus contracts several times and can cause endometrial tissue and blood to be expelled. Cervical inflammation can also cause bleeding associate with sex, but doesn't cause a late period.
