A member asked:

Do i have to get some blood tests before getting a keratectomy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Keratectomy: Depends on your health, or if you have medical conditions like bleeding disorders. Typically blood test are not ordered. However, if your ophthalmologist is asking for test, i suggest you do them. There is something called "clinical acumen" "clinical skills" that come with experience. These are non-written rules aka the "art of medicine.".
