Too early: We can sometimes tell sex by 13 weeks but it is easier after 16 weeks. You should get a 20 week scan and hopefully that baby will cooperate. Congratulations!

Wait: This early in pregnancy it would be very difficult to determine the sex of a baby by ultrasound. Even later in pregnancy, the sonographer can be fooled. I've seen errors both ways.
