Probably not!: In women age 18-25 Implanon has a rate of 0.38 pregnancies per 100 women years of use. Implanon can be less effective in women who are over weight or take medications that induce liver enzymes. Morning sickness is the nausea frequently experienced in the first trimester of pregnancy in response to high Progesterone levels. This would not occur in the first 4-5 weeks of pregnancy
