Salivary Duct: A salivary duct could be blocked due to an infection, a calcification or tumor. If it is not red and warm (indicating infection) you could apply a warm, moist compress over the area several times a day to see if it resolves. If it is red and warm, or if compress does not resolve you should see a doctor for further evaluation and treatment.

Gland: Everyone has large salivary glands on the right and left cheeks. Sometimes these get clogged with mucus deposits or calcium deposits. You can milk the gland by placing a finger on the inside near the duct (hole) and one on the outside and massage the area milking the gland. If this works and you 'pass' the deposit great and if not i would see an oral surgeon to determine the best course of action.
