There may still be the occasional family doctor or general practice doctor with training and priviledges for this type procedure - if your doctor has this training, etc, you would not need to see anyone else.

Yes: There is a minimally invasive option done in your gynecologist's office with a local anesthetic and without an incision. Women walk out of the office about 15 to 30 minutes later and resume normal activity once the anesthesia wears off. For a greater peace of mind you get a test 3 months later to confirm that your tubes are closed.
