What kind of pills or treatment can somebody get for chlamydia infection?

Several choices: Presuming this is just an infection with a positive culture and not pelvic inflammation with pain and fever, the top current choices for oral treatment are doxycycline, azithromycin, erythromycin, ofloxacin, and levofloxacin.

Antibiotics: Chlamydia needs to be treated with antibiotics and the most commonly used are azithromycin, doxycycline, or tetracycline. Get a "test of cure" a month later to ensure eradication, get checked for all sexually treated diseases (stds), and get your partner treated also.
