Not good.: It is not particularly wise. For two reasons. #1 the pregnant female doesn't handle sugar loading as well as non pregnant females and some women develop gestational diabetes. #2 the caloric density of sweets may cause excessive weight gain which will be hard to remove later. One should eat a balanced diet and gain weight as directed by their obsetrician.
