Post nasal drip?: Many patients with allergies develop secretions of mucus which collects in the sinuses. During the change in posture the secretions drip in the back of tbroat and causes irritation and throat pain. Irrigation of sinuses and nose with salt water (commercially available) will help to reduce throat pain.
