Variable: Pcos involves dysfunctional hormone production from the ovaries. The uterus responds to hormone changes by either bleeding or not bleeding. Spotting during pcos cycles is not unusual, however, unprotected intercourse with implantation bleeding during early pregnancy could produce spotting as well.
