A member asked:

When you're close to fainting why does it first start with stomach like it feels like you're going to vomit then vision blackens and you become deaf?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Vestigial response: This is a vestigial response designed to protect us. What happens when you ingest a toxin is a sense of dizziness/lightheadedness. This triggers a parasympathetic response which stimulates the stomach to get rid of it by vomiting.
