Perianal Candida: People who have recently taken antibiotics and who have diabetes are more prone to candida infections. The perianal area is particularly prone because of the moisture in the area and because a small amount of candida normally lives there. Controlling blood sugars, taking probiotics (check w/yr dr. First), wearing cotton underwear, not using bleach in washes all help. You may need some oral meds.
