Yes: Yeast infections commonly cause itching and a thick, usually white discharge. Some have no symptoms. Some just itch. Some have only a discharge. Also, some bacterial infections can be mistaken for yeast infections causing a delay in appropriate treatment. Any unusual discharge should be evaluated for this possibility.
