Plenty of time: 21 days is plenty of time to get an accurate result. Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection.

Yes: You had both protected sex and took plan b. The chances of a pregnancy are minuscule and don't worry. The test is accurate . If you are on a regular cycle you ovulate 14 days before it starts. You should know from your cycles when your next one is due then count backwards 14 days and that is when you ovulate
