A member asked:

What shall i do to assist and help a person that is having a seizure? restraining him to stop the unvoluntary movement is good?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Do not restrain: Please do not attempt to restrain a person having a seizure. If at home and the person is on the floor, you might try sliding a thin pillow under their head. No matter where you are, after the seizure is over, roll the person on their side to lessen the chance of them aspirating. During a seizure the person may bite their tongue, don't be surprised if you see blood on occasion.
