Ovulation: Ovulation usually occurs 12-16 days before menstruation. If your typical menstrual cycle length is 28 days, ovulation usually occurs on day 14. If your cycle length is 32 days, ovulation would be on day 18. If your period was late by more than 2 days, you either ovulated later or could have been an early pregnancy and miscarriage.
