Acne in 20 year olds: Acne can be triggered by stress levels, medications, change in diet, extreme exercise, hormones, including oral contraceptives or a change in a woman's hormonal status, like polycystic ovary syndrome or there may not be a good explanation at all. Look at what has changed from about 1-2 months prior to breakouts. That may offer a clue. Also see your dermatologist for a full examination.
