Should be regular: Most women get regular cycles very shortly after stopping the pill and it is not normal take more then 6 months to normalize. . I would consider seeing your doctor for some hormone testing and possibly medication to help you ovulate provided you are not pregnant already.

Need to see your MD: A patient can stop having periods after taking birth control pill, sometimes for years. You can still get pregnant during that time, even without menses. However, there are multiple methods that a knowlegeable physician can use to help a patient conceive in this situation. I would recommend that the Effexor (venlafaxine) be discontinued prior to attempting to conceive, if at all possible.
