A member asked:

Is your risk of having hiv greater if you have hpv?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not really: Since you get both through sexual activity with infected partners they share a common form of transmission. However, having HPV does not alter your immune system to make you more susceptible to the other. The majority of adults who have had more than one partner in their life will have at least one strain of genital HPV.
