Most common: Causes of adult rash around the anus is caffeine and excess moisture. Eliminate all caffeine, use cornstarch powder liberally down to the anus. If none of this works within a week or so, see a colon and rectal surgeon. Rarely pin worms can cause this in an adult but by far caffeine and moisture are the most likely culprits.
