Not necessarily: Drug allergic reactions can be unpredictable. A person's immune response to a medication could be by several different mechanisms leading to a variety of different types of reactions. It's possible that the reaction would worsen with continued taking of the medication and that is why a medication is stopped when a person is having a reaction. Sometimes the reaction continues but does not worsen.
