A member asked:

Thyroid stimulating hormone (tsh) result is 25.09. is that considered dangerous?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Abnormal: Not dangerous, but definitely abnormal and needs to be treated with brand name T4 replacement until you levels have been returned to normal. You doctor can help you out with this, but it will take months until you are better, and will need treatment life long. Don't delay any further..
