can you please tell me about the acupuncture spots for inducing labor?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Heidi Fowler
24 years experience Psychiatry
Induction of labor: There are two acupressure / acupuncture points that can be used to help induce labor. One is on the hand and the other is inside the ankle. Be aware that they are normally only useful when the body is physiologically prepared for labor. Acupressure & acupuncture can also be used to decrease anxiety and pain during delivery.
