A member asked:

Please describe a good exercise machine for someone with multiple sclerosis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Varies, but : If patient is still ambulatory, consider a treadmill or even a stair stepper. A stationary bike might work. If trouble walking, best general exercise via swimming or aerobics in a pool setting. Some patients will not tolerate an exercise machine, and do far better with assisted walking.
