Oral Herpes: If it is the first occurance feels like a burning itching pain that nothing seems to help. Recurrent herpes will often have a prodrome of slight burning sensation where the lesion will appear in 2-3 days - this is the best time to take medication to prevent the outbreak. See your dentist or md for diagnosis & medicaitons to prevent/treat further outbreaks.
