Presentation/lab: In unvaccinated populations there are variations in their clinical presentation.However the lab tests (spinal fluid test exam and culture) that allow specific dx.Hemophillis tends to present in younger infants and toddlers, while neisseria attak the older crowd. Neisseria often presents with a distinct purplish skin rash while hemophyllis does not.
