Leukorrhea: Most women have a thin clear to white discharge during pregnancy called leukorrhea that helps prevent infection. Its normal. Now late in pregnancy your wife might lose her mucus plug which is usually dark green to brownish with some blood mixed with it. That is a thick protective mucus that again probably prevents infection of the bag of water.
