Usually no: Whiole it could be possible for there to be an infection bad enough to make it harder for the sperm to survive, most of the time, it won't cause enough problems to make a big difference in fertility. However, the type of infection makes a difference. If it is the usual vag infection - not a problem. If it is chlamydia or gonorrhea, that is a different story. They can really interfere with pregnanc.
