A member asked:

If i was exposed to large amounts of carbon monoxide as a child, will i have issues as an adult?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Future effects: When you are removed from a contaminated environment the carbon monoxide will be expelled over time. If damage results fom exposure, any neurological damage should manifest itself at the time of the exposure. It will not last to cause new problems in the future.
