What should i use as pain relief on my throat ulcer?

Throat pain: There are several ways to treat a sore throat- salt water gargles, listerine zero rinses, cepacol rinses- all over the counter oral rinses that will assist with keeping the area clean and assist in promoting healing. Motrin can assist, to coat the ulcer, a cocktail of maalox and Benadryl (diphenhydramine) with or without some lido swish and spit can cover the sore so you can eat and swallow. Dds/md rx needed.
