Impetigo: Impetigo is from an infection and does not itch. It may be transmitted to others. Poison ivy is intensely itchy and may blister and occurs only hours and days after contacting poison ivy/oak.

POISON IVY: Poison ivy often appears in lines of redness followed by blistering and,of course, is itchy and can spread by touching the rash. The lines are caused when the leaves brush across various parts of the body when working in the garden,etc. See your Physician as needed for diagnosis and treatment.
