Breast aug: Breast augmentation has no effect on hormones. The manipulation of the breast tissue causes no surge in hormones; however, surgery and recovery can lead to stress, emotional irritability, pain, and a surge in other hormones related to these. Be patient! you will recover and this will pass.

No: Augmentation only affects your appearance, not your hormones. However, the stress of having surgery taking narcotic pain medication can certainly cause your symptoms, but should resolve soon. Good luck.
