Have Dr take it out: Some people's skin does not like internal sutures, so instead of dissolving them, the skin forms a channel around the internal suture and pushes it out. Sometimes the knot below is still there and pulling on the suture will traumatize the area. So it's safest to have your doctor that placed the sutures or a dermatologist take it out.
