Day #1 is first day: When measuring cycle length, the first day is always day #1. Your cycle length goes from day #1 of one cycle to the day #1 of the following cycle. The time between 3/31 to 5/2 is a 32 day cycle. If your cycle is irregular, the day of ovulation is difficult to know. Average would be day # 18 for a 32 day cycle. Try an ovulation predictor kit.
