BV: Likely bacterial vaginosis. Needs antibiotic by mouth or intravaginally. Some drs get a sample to see the " clue cells" described.

Germ farts: The smell you notice is likely produces by germ action as they live in and feed off the moist, protein and carbohydrate substances within your vaginal cavity. These increase with sex or reactions to condoms, spermicides, etc. Their metabolism creates gasses which we notices as the odor. Douches can sometimes dilute the odor but often this will require medications your doc needs to prescribe.
