Worms?: I wonder if you have worms? Have you been checked? There are several things that cause anal itching, usually either yeast or parasites. You should be checked for both to see if you have them, it would then help you because you could get treated for it.

Also, any type of itch is worse at night when the level of distraction is low, so pruritus ani will also be itchier at night time.
