Dandruff & pregnancy: Nizoral (ketoconazole) shampoo is pregnancy category c, so we don't know what effect it may have on baby. We do sometimes use pregnancy category c meds in pregnancy but only when absolutely necessary. There are pregnancy category b shampoos like Loprox Shampoo that help with seborrheic dermatitis.
