Abnormal: Elevated CPK is always abnormal -- go see your doctor asap.

Several reasons: CPK is non specific and could be elevated in muscular, liver, kidney and heart problems . The isoenzymes may help in narrowing down the causes. Heavy excercize and dehydration can cause elevation. Follow up with your doctor.
