Possible infection: If you have had wounds on your neck and shoulders, and you are now having an enlarging lymph node, then you may be developing an infection. See a physician for further evaluation.

Yes: If there is a clear infection in the area the lymph nodes react and they can be also painful not just larger. Hopefully your are treated appropriately as when the infections subsides the lymph nodes will go down in size. Keep and eye on the situation.
