Any rash?: I would advise if there is a rash to see your md asap - these are symptoms similar to shingles and need to be looked at sooner than later....

Shingles?: Pain and burning in a strip of skin, can be an early sign of shingles. It is hard to say. I think you should see your primary care doctor to have it checked as there are medications you can take if it is. Shingles will also create small water filled blisters.
