Comedonal acne: Blackheads and whiteheads are a type of non inflammatory acne. This type of acne responds to benzoyl peroxide, retinoids like tretinoin, adapalene, tazarotene and sulfur-sulfacetamide topical preparations. It does take 3-4 months to see a good response.
