Not really: It needs follow-up by your obstetrician. There are many causes for spotting - mainly ectopic pregnancy (pregnancy in the wrong spot); sign of an abnormal pregnancy that can result in miscarriage; or could be unknown (idiopathic). Most often, need to follow blood pregnancy tests and ultrasound when blood pregnancy test above 1000.
