Melasma: Melasma is from hormones and sun exposure. Since hormones are in your body all the time (you need them), it's impossible to "cure" melasma. You should protect from the sun and use fading agents, hydroquinone being the best. You can get significant improvement with treatment but a cure remains elusive.
