why is my period blood look orange?

No other symptoms?: Occasionally some women ask why their periods have an orange hue or look pinkish-orange. Ob-gyn doctors often say that the hues of the blood color is not important, as long as the periods are normal in other ways. The color hues may be related things like the ph of the menstrual blood or to vaginal fluids/mucus mixed in with the menstrual blood. An ob-gyn can help, if other symptoms are present.
