May need medical che: This could be a virus infection in which case the fever should subside in 2-3 days. But if he has high fevers and is not able to eat or drink plenty of fluids you should take him to a doctor or to an er(emergency room). If he does not get up and walk around some, watch his level of alertness and mental state...Take him to a doctor if he is not awake during the day.
