Painful 1-side rash: Shingles is one painful rash that can start on back close to middle and spreads forward and down. Consists of red patches with groups of small blisters. Other conditions such as a bacterial infection, cellulitis, can spread and cause pain and lymph node swelling as well. Please see your doctor for diagnosis and treatment.
